Who can get the coronavirus vaccination?
Do you have a referral from your general practitioner? If so, you can book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine. You can call 0800-7070 to do this. You will need your citizen service number.
Autumn vaccination round 2026
A new round of COVID-19 vaccinations will begin this autumn. People who are at risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19 will be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine again. This also applies to healthcare workers who care for these people. Vaccinations will be available from 21 September to 27 November. You can book an appointment online from 25 August. The following groups are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine this year:
- people aged 70 and older;
- people aged 50 to 69 with one or more medical conditions who have a bigger risk of becoming seriously ill with COVID-19;
- adults and children from high-risk medical groups (for example, people with a severe immune disorder and nursing home residents);
- healthcare workers who have direct contact with vulnerable patients, in order to protect these patients.
