Who can get the coronavirus vaccination?

Have you been referred by a medical specialist? Then you can make an appointment for a coronavirus vaccination. You can call 0800-7070 to do this. You will need your citizen service number.

A new round of coronavirus vaccinations will start in the fall of 2025. People who can get seriously ill from coronavirus can then get the coronavirus vaccination again. This also applies to healthcare workers who work with these people. You can do this from 15 September to 5 December. People aged 60 and over will receive a letter with a scheduled appointment or an invitation to make an appointment. People aged 50 to 59 who receive an annual invitation for the flu shot, as well as healthcare workers who care for vulnerable patients, can make an appointment on this website or by phone starting August 26.

An important change compared to 2024 is that people aged 18 to 49 who receive an annual invitation for the flu shot will no longer be offered a COVID-19 vaccination in 2025. This group has a lower risk of severe illness. For more information, please visit the RIVM website: https://www.rivm.nl/en/coronavirus-covid-19.
