Make an appointment for the COVID vaccination?

People who can become seriously ill from coronavirus can get the COVID vaccination again this autumn. This also applies to healthcare workers who have direct contact with vulnerable patients. A new vaccination round against COVID starts on 21 September. You can make an appointment from 25 August until 27 November.

Who can get the COVID vaccination?

  • People aged 70 and over.
  • People aged 50 to 69 with one or more medical conditions and therefore a higher chance of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19.
  • Adults and children from medically high-risk groups, for example people with a serious immune disorder and residents of nursing homes.
  • Healthcare workers who have direct contact with vulnerable patients, to protect these patients.

Do you not belong to the groups above, but still want to get the COVID vaccination? For example because someone in your household is vulnerable, or on your doctor’s advice? Then you can also make an appointment.

When can you not make an appointment online?

In the following situations, it is not possible to make an appointment online. You can then call to make an appointment:

  • You do not have DigiD.
  • You do not have an email address or mobile phone number. Or you prefer not to share these details.
  • You want to make an appointment for someone who is younger than 18.
  • Because of a serious illness, condition or disability, you cannot go to a vaccination location yourself or with help from others.
