I cannot go to the GGD vaccination location myself. What should I do?
Do you have a serious illness, condition, or disability, and you cannot go to the GGD location for your COVID-19 vaccination, even with help from others? Call 0800-7070 from 26 August and choose option 2. A GGD worker will look for a solution with you.
In special cases, you can get the COVID-19 vaccination at home.
Examples of when a home vaccination might be possible:
– You always need care and help, day and night.
– You cannot walk or travel by yourself or with help from others.
– You get confused or upset from travel or too many sounds and lights (for example, if you have severe dementia or autism).
– You are very ill or must stay in bed.
– You have an indication for long-term care with much nursing and support (for example, care profiles VV5, VV6, or VV7).
These are only examples. They are not fixed rules.
