Who gets an invitation for the coronavirus vaccination?
Are you 60 years or older? Then you will receive a letter. If you got the corona vaccination at the GGD last year, your letter will include an appointment. Other people of 60 years and older will receive a letter without an appointment. The letters are sent between 26 August and mid-October. The exact date can be different for each person.
Are you younger than 60 years?
Then you will not receive a letter. You can make an appointment yourself if you are between 50 and 59 years old and get a yearly invitation for the flu vaccination. This also applies if you work in healthcare and have direct contact with vulnerable patients, or if you belong to a medical high-risk group.
