I have just had coronavirus. Can I still go to my appointment for the vaccination?
You can safely get the vaccination, even if you recently had coronavirus. But after an infection, that protection slowly gets weaker. In the first six months after a (known) coronavirus infection, a vaccine probably gives only a little extra protection. The longer ago your infection was, the more extra protection a vaccine gives. A recent coronavirus infection is not a reason to avoid vaccination. Do you want to get the coronavirus vaccination? That is allowed. It is best to plan your appointment as late as possible. This year, you can get the vaccination up to and including 5 December.
